We are now adding T4O bumper stickers to our merchandise! These designs are for the Goliath Grouper Research Project. They are not avaliable to purchase yet but we would like your input on the design. We will probably make only one or two different kinds. We would also like to know how many people would be interested in buying a bumper sticker. Please vote for your favorites!
Also, please keep sending in any pictures of fish species that you see on the cameras! Thanks to all of the people who have sent in pictures already. Keep up the good work!
Thank you to the many people who have sent us images for our new fish ID system. Aren’t these spadefish just characters?
We would like some feedback on where to point the camera. At this time we are looking directly out from the concrete support of the bridge into the channel between north and southbound lanes of the highway. We have had the camera swing the right and look up at the northbound support of our column, where Goliaths seem to like to congregate and swim in large circles. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We need more images of fish species such as Sheepshead, other goliath species, Lookdowns, angels, sharks, Tarpon, snapper species, grunts, other jacks (such as horse-eye), etc.
As we continue to work on our fish identification database and taxonomic family information, we need images taken with the webcams. This will allow the public to become informed about the faunal inhabitants at our study site. The family information will allow people to fully appreciate the diversity of life that lives in our nearshore marine ecosystems. Please help us out!!
